“Elizabeth Mitchell, her husband Daniel and their 11 year old daughter Storey are not just talented artists and storytellers, but also the living breathing reason why families should experience music with their children. Watching them perform, you immediately get swept up in their love of music and realize they have a special way of making the whole audience feel like members of their musical family. Their music is genuinely beautiful, timeless and guaranteed to inspire the musician in you and your children as it has for me and mine.
Along with being one of the best modern day examples of musicians creating folk music for children, Elizabeth is also a Grammy nominated Smithsonian Folkways Recording artist and all round amazing person. There are no other people my family would rather spend the last weekend in July with than Elizabeth, Daniel and Storey!
